I have always been very transparent in the past, and let you know when I did more editing than usual on a certain photo đ But I thought youâd be interested to know what the usual âediting policyâ that I adhere to is! I DO edit things that SHOULDNâT/wouldnât normally be there, like: -Bigger/distracting blemishes -The occasional stray hair -Bruises, sometimes -Use filters and artificial lighting that donât change my appearance, but do add interesting color dynamics I DONâT edit anything that would change *what I look like*, or misrepresent my bodyâs actual features, or remove anything that actually belongs there (even if itâs unflattering): -Cellulite and other body textures -Discolorations -Unflattering shadows -Waist/hip/body shape -Stretch marks I donât edit to try to pretend that I donât have flaws. I edit because Iâm an artist, and the simple fact is⊠when I take a beautiful photo that Iâm proud of- but I have one red bump that I just *happened* to have that day on my otherwise smooth and shapely ass? It distracts me from truly enjoying all my hard work on the rest of the photoâs composition. Iâd rather remove it and feel like Iâm sharing a better, but still honest, representation of what I actually look like- than be unhappy with what I posted just because one of my pores woke up and chose violence that day. đ
